By normal, of course, I mean normal for me, before the fibro really dug its heels in and spoke up. Minimal pain, brain mostly fine, functioning well.
That was yesterday.
Then there are days when I wake up, and have to go back to sleep because I just can’t stay awake, despite a good night’s rest. Days when every single part of me hurts to be still, but hurts more to be moved. When my focus is completely out the window for more than five minutes at a time, and I have to retype half the words in a blog post because spelling isn’t happening.
Days when I have so little energy that the thought of getting dressed, or even chewing food, is daunting in the highest degree.
This is one of those days.
Reblogging for awareness’ sake. The symptoms, the specifics may be different, but every chronic illness comes with days like these.
